The Motion Picture & Television Fund has kicked off We All Play Our Part: A Benefit for MPTF, its fundraiser to benefit its COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund. The virtual event is being hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown and Tom Bergeron.
The one-hour salute to Hollywood and the people who work behind-the-scenes will include performances by Skyler Day, Susanna Hoffs, Richard Marx, Leslie Odom Jr., Brad Paisley, and Rachel Platten. Pierce Brosnan, MPTF board member George Clooney, Taye Diggs, Michael Douglas, Jay Ellis, Valorie Kondos Field, Frances Fisher, Jodie Foster, Daisy Fuentes, Brad Garrett, Hugh Jackman, Allison Janney, Kris Jenner, Ken Jeong, MPTF chairman of the board of governors Jeffrey Katzenberg, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Jay Roach, Ray Romano, Wanda Sykes and Ming-Na Wen are also scheduled to appear.

Bergeron, Brown, David Boone, Kelly Brock, Phil Rosenthal, Greg Sills and David Wild are producing, with Jason Newman of Creative Technology Group providing support.
The MPTF is seeking matching contributions to double the $250,000 pledged by the John and Marilyn Wells Family Foundation to help defray the cost of PPE and food for caregivers at its skilled nursing home in Woodland Hills, where six residents have died of COVID-19. The donations also will go toward the general upkeep of the facility’s coronavirus care unit.
