'See You Then' Clip: Pooya Mohseni And Lynn Chen Discuss Navigating Womanhood In SXSW Drama

EXCLUSIVE: In See You Then, director and writer Mari Walker gives us My Dinner With Andre energy with a story of two friends who meet up for dinner and engage in a series of intimate conversations that tend to reveal a lot about themselves as women — before one huge shocking revelation is revealed. See You Then is set to make its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 16 but Deadline has a sneak peek of the friendship drama.

In the first clip we see the aforementioned Kris (Pooya Mohseni) and Naomi (Lynn Chen) chopping it up at dinner. Kris talks about her recent transition and shares the obstacles of her journey and what she has learned — and Naomi learns a couple of things as well.

See You Then is a personal story for Walker as she draws from her experiences while transitioning. The film brings to light the trans experiences and although living one’s truth is freeing, there are heartbreaking emotions and situations one has to confront and live through

Nican Robinson and Danny Jacobsonalso star in the film which is produced by Walker as well as Mia Schulman, Matt Miller and Kristen Uno.
