Apple has unveiled the official trailer for See, an epic world-building drama starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard. The series hails from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, director Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2) and the scripted drama venture of Peter Chernin’s Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.
Written by Knight and directed by Lawrence, See takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived, emerged blind. Momoa stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed. Woodard stars as Paris, Baba Voss’s spiritual leader. See also stars an internationally acclaimed cast, including Yadira Guevara-Prip, Sylvia Hoeks, Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe, Christian Camargo, Hera Hilmar and Marilee Talkington.
The series features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision, who helped bring this inclusive and authentic world to life.
Knight and Lawrence executive produce alongside Chernin Entertainment’s Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.
See will debut November 1 exclusively on Apple TV+, Apple’s new original video subscription service.
