On Tuesday, Netflix released a new trailer for its animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, directed by Eiichiro Hasumi, which debuts on the streamer July 8.
Based on Capcom’s hugely popular franchise of zombie survival horror games, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the CG toon series picks up with Resident Evil 2 protagonists Leon S. Kennedy (Nick Apostolides) and Claire Redfield (Stephanie Panisello) in the year 2006, watching as they contend with zombie attacks, a Tyrant shrouded in mystery and more.
Produced by Capcom Co. and TMS Entertainment, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is being animated by Quebico. Hiroyuki Kobayashi of Capcom executive produces, while Kei Miyamoto serves as CG Producer. Yugo Kanno is also on board, as composer.
