‘No Time To Die’ Super Bowl Spot: New Trailer Teases A Secret That Will Shake Up (Not Stir) James Bond’s World

'No Time To Die' Super Bowl

In making a big splash, MGM dropped a trailer for the new 007 feature No Time to Die due out on Easter weekend, April 10.

Cary Joji Fukunaga directs off a screenplay by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and Cary Joji Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The new 30-second look at the 25th James Bond pic begins Daniel Craig and the new 007 Lashana Lynch maneuvering a plane as the signature score from the franchise is woven throughout clips of the cast including Rami Malek serving classic Bond villain realness. We also see Léa Seydoux standing on the ledge of the building as we hear a character hauntingly say, “When her secret finds its way out, it will be the death of him.”

Bridge is the second woman ever to be credited on a 007 script, Johanna Harwood having penned the franchise’s first two entries Dr. No in 1962 and From Russia With Love in 1963. Bond himself, Craig, reportedly made a request for Waller-Bridge to polish the script.

“There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not [the Bond franchise] is relevant now because of who he is and the way he treats women,” Waller-Bridge told Deadline. “I think that’s bollocks. I think he’s absolutely relevant now. It has just got to grow. It has just got to evolve, and the important thing is that the film treats the women properly. He doesn’t have to. He needs to be true to this character.”
