‘JFK: What The Doctors Saw’ First Look: In Paramount+ Documentary, Physicians Who Treated Wounded President Reveal Evidence Of Multiple Assassins

'JFK: What the Doctors Saw'

EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of the 60th anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination, doctors who treated him that fateful day in Dallas are disclosing details that call into question the lone gunman explanation for the shocking crime.

Those revelations come in the Paramount+ documentary JFK: What the Doctors Saw, which will begin streaming on the platform November 14. Barbara Shearer (Loving Elvis) directed the film, which includes new interviews with seven physicians who attended to the gravely wounded president in the emergency room of Parkland Hospital on Nov. 22, 1963.

We have your first look at the film in the trailer above.

“In never-before-seen footage from this reunion, the doctors share in vivid detail their indelible memories of what they did and saw in Trauma Room 1,” Paramount+ says in a release. “Several of those doctors there that day remain certain that what they saw looked like an entry wound – a bullet hole in JFK’s throat – an observation that contradicts what Americans have been told by numerous official investigations. This revelation would indicate that someone shot the President from the front, challenging the decades-old government narrative that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.”

The release continues, “JFK: What the Doctors Saw also examines the inconsistencies and gaps that plagued the official autopsy, raising even more questions about how many bullets hit the President and what damage they caused, leaving viewers with the looming question: Was there more than one shooter?”

The documentary is executive produced by Jacque Lueth, Bill Garnet and Barbara Shearer. Channel 5 in the U.K, part of Paramount Global, is a co-producer with Guy Davies, who serves as executive producer. Executive producers for Lucky Elephant Media are Adam Somer, Cheryl Leib, Joseph Leib, and Joseph Marvel. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong executive produce, and Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora are supervising producers.
