Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan aren’t the happiest of couples in the first trailer for Father of the Bride, but don’t lose hope—their baby girl is getting married. HBO Max and Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer for the romantic comedy premiering on June 16 above.
Based on the novel of the same name by Edward Streeter, Father of the Bride stars Garcia in the role of Billy, a proud papa who is excitedly preparing for his daughter Sophie’s (Adria Arjona) nuptials. Billy and his wife Ingrid (Estefan) welcome Sophie’s fiance Adan (Diego Boneta) into the fold, but their own marriage is currently all for show. Will everyone make it to the chapel in one piece?
The film also stars Isabela Merced and Chloe Fineman.
