‘Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga’ Trailer: Netflix Comedy Hits The Stage

Eurovision Song Contest Movie

There won’t be the actual Eurovision Song Contest this year because of the coronavirus pandemic — organizers were forced to cancel the annual global event back in March — but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your fix this summer. Netflix on Thursday unveiled the official trailer for Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, the spoofy comedy starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams.

The pic hits the streamer on June 26.

Directed by Wedding Crashers helmer David Dobkin from a screenplay by Ferrell & Andrew Steele, the plot centers on Ferrell and McAdams as aspiring Icelandic musicians who start a band called Fire Saga (spoiler alert: they’re not very good). They somehow get invited to represent the country at Eurovision, the world’s biggest singing competition, where they have a chance to prove that any dream is a dream worth fighting for.

Dan Stevens, Demi Lovato and Pierce Brosnan also star.
