‘The Late Late Show’: CBS Looking To “Experiment” In Late-Night Slot As James Corden Prepares Exit

Carpool Karaoke: The Series is based on the beloved recurring segment of the same name first introduced as part of The Late Late Show with James Corden back in 2015, which had Corden driving around town while breaking into song alongside a range of stars. The show produced for Apple by CBS Studios and Fulwell 73 Productions has won an Emmy for each of its previous four seasons, along with multiple Producers Guild Awards and a Critics’ Choice Award. Corden, Eric Pankowski and Ben Winston serve as its executive producers.

While The White Lotus was initially presented as a limited series, it was renewed for a second season last August, after debuting to critical acclaim and a #1 ranking on HBO. The next edition will follow a different group of vacationers as they book their stay at an Italian White Lotus property and settle in temporarily amongst its inhabitants. The show’s first season ensemble also included Jennifer Coolidge, Connie Britton, Fred Hechinger, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Steve Zahn and Lukas Gage. Season 2 will see Coolidge reprise her role as the troubled Tanya McQuoid, with F. White exec produces the series alongside David Bernad and Nick Hall, with Mark Kamine serving as co-executive producer.
