High Noon Entertainment has tapped former Fox TV Studios exec Jill Schwartz to manage its development team and slate. As SVP Development, she will be charged with generating new character-driven docuseries and creating original formats for U.S. broadcast and cable networks.
Schwartz was SVP Alternative Programming and Development at FtvS, overseeing the studio’s unscripted fare. She shepherded dozens of series including E!’s The Girls Next Door and Holly’s World and Fox’s The Wanda Sykes Show and Talkshow With Spike Feresten. Before that, she spent 10 years at FremantleMedia North America, where she oversaw production on the first five seasons of American Idol and worked on game shows including Family Feud and To Tell The Truth. She also served as the international liaison for Fremantle Worldwide.
She will be based in High Noon’s Los Angeles office and report to CEO Jim Berger.
