Naomi Campbell To Recur On Fox’s ‘Empire’; Tina Casciani Joins CW’s ‘Jane The Virgin’

Naomi Campbell has booked a recurring role on Fox’s midseason drama Empire. The hip-hop industry drama from Lee Daniels, Danny Strong and Brian Grazer centers on Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), a music superstar who is about to take his company public. Campbell will play Camilla, an alluring woman involved in a steamy affair with Hakeem (Bryshere Gray), the much-younger potential heir to his father’s throne, over whom she exercises considerable influence. Supermodel Campbell executive produces Oxygen’s modeling competition series The Face, and her acting credits include Fastlane and New York Undercover. She is repped by Resolution and Untitled Entertainment.

Tina Casciani has joined the cast of the CW’s Jane The Virgin, produced by Jennie Snyder Urman and Ben Silverman. The series stars Gina Rodriguez as Jane, a religious young Latina who becomes accidentally artificially inseminated. Casciani will play Melissa De La Vega, a telenovela star and ex-wife and manager of Rogelio (Jaime Camil). Casciani, repped by Nu Talent and Myman Greenspan, was recently seen on Reckless, Murder In The First, Revenge and CSI.
