Jenna Elfman Inks Development Deal With 20th TV To Topline New Series

Jenna Elfman has signed a development and talent holding deal with 20th Century Fox Television. Under the pact, the studio will pair the actress with a writer to develop a comedy or drama project for her to star. Elfman has already begun meeting with potential writers. This marks Elfman’s return to 2oth TV where she got her break as star of the popular ABC comedy Dharma and Greg. Elfman also co-starred on the studio’s NBC comedy 1600 Penn.

“Jenna is both a brilliant comedic leading lady and a stunning dramatic actress; she quite frankly can do everything,” 20th TV EVP casting Sharon Klein said. “Audiences love her and so do we; We could not be more excited to be back in business developing something just for her. “

Elfman, repped by WME, Brillstein Entertainment, PJ Shapiro and Matt Johnson, recently finished shooting the feature Big Stone Gap.
