New LA-Based Mouthpiece For AFTRA

AFTRA announced today it has hired Leslie Simmons as AFTRA National Manager of Communications. Leslie previously worked as a reporter for The Hollywood Reporter until she was laid off and will be based in Los Angeles. I hope this means AFTRA can stop paying 42West’s Allan Mayer to be its uncharming mouthpiece.
