‘The Knick’ Grows To 600,000 Viewers

Friday night on Cinemax, The Knick’s second episode grew 18% in comparison to the series’ premiere the week before, with 419,000 viewers at 10 PM. For the night, the episode was watched by nearly 600,000 viewers.

Heading into next week’s series finale, HBO’s True Blood’s last season has an average gross audience of 9.4 million viewers. Sunday night’s 9 PM airing averaged 3.6 million viewers, and across its three plays tallied 4.3 million.

At 10 PM, The Leftovers attracted 1.636 million viewers — its most watched telecast since the series’ debut. Including its second play of the night, the episode was viewed by 1.9 million viewers. The Leftovers currently is averaging 7.4 million viewers in gross audience.

Sunday’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver clocked just over 1 million viewers at 11 PM —  its most watched telecast since May. Season to-date, the series has an average gross audience of 4 million viewers.

On Saturday night, the standup special Katt Williams; Priceless: Afterlife averaged just under 1 million viewers (966,000).  That’s HBO’s most watched stand-up special premiere in nearly five years, though it’s no match for Robin Williams: Weapons of Self Destruction which logged 1.9 million viewers on December 6, 2o09.
