Ryan McPartlin Joins NBC’s ‘Bad Judge’; JR Ramirez Upped On Starz’s ‘Power’

Chuck alum Ryan McPartlin has been tapped for an arc opposite Kate Walsh on NBC’s single-camera comedy Bad Judge. It centers on Rebecca (Walsh), a hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman whose life on the edge is constantly in balance because she also happens to be a judge in the criminal court system. McPartlin, repped by Gersh, Revolution and Pinnacle PR, will play Billy the Fireman, a love interest for Rebecca. McPartlin also appears on upcoming Crackle series Sequestered.

JR Ramirez, who recurred on the first season of Starz’s drama series Power, has been promoted to regular for Season 2. The show centers on wealthy New York City nightclub owner James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), who is living a double life as a kingpin. Ramirez, repped by manager Marie Mathews and Mavrick Artists, plays Julio, second in command to Tommy (Joseph Sikora). Ramirez also was recently cast as Ted “Wildcat” Grant on the upcoming third season of the CW‘s Arrow.
