DreamWorks Sets Fall Start For ‘Light Between Oceans’ With Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Rachel Weisz

BREAKING: DreamWorks has firmed a September start date in New Zealand and Australia on The Light Between Oceans, with Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Rachel Weisz starring and Derek Cianfrance directing his scripted adaptation of the M.L. Stedman novel. Heyday Films’ David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford are producing.

Pic takes place on a remote Australian island in the years following World War I, where a lighthouse keeper and his wife are faced with a moral dilemma when a boat washes ashore with a dead man and a 2-month-old infant. When they decide to raise the child as their own, the consequences of their choice are devastating.
