Beau Knapp Joins ‘Southpaw’; Cullen Douglas Cast In ‘Wrong Side Of Right’

Beau Knapp has joined The Weinstein Company’s Southpaw from writer Kurt Sutter and director Antoine Fuqua. Jake Gyllenhaal star as a champion boxer who rises in his profession while his personal life falls apart. Knapp will play Jon Jon, the fighter’s lifelong best friend who came up with him through foster care and is on the payroll. Knapp most recently appeared in The Signal, and his credits also include Super 8 and Bones. Next up is the Liam Neeson thiller Run All Night.He is repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment and CAA.

Cullen DouglasCullen Douglas has been cast in indie feature Wrong Side Of Right, directed by Alex Ranarivelo. He will play Vincent Bogel in the story of a woman who goes undercover to expose an inhumane dog breeder. Nico Evers-Swindell also is in the cast. Douglas recurs on ABC’s Scandal, and recent credits also include Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., Major Crimes and Grey’s Anatomy. He next appears in the feature The Possession Of Michael King. Douglas is repped by Greene and Associates.
