‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’ Taps John Goodman, Ken Watanabe To Voice Autobots

John Goodman and Ken Watanabe will voice two new Autobot characters being introduced in Paramount’s robot sequel Transformers: Age of Extinction. Goodman has been cast as a character named Hound and Watanabe will voice Drift alongside returning voice actors Peter Cullen, reprising his Optimus Prime role, and Frank Welker as new character Galvatron.

Also new to the Transformers franchise are John DiMaggio as Crosshairs and Mark Ryan as Lockdown. Robert Foxworth is back playing Ratchet with Wilson as Brains. On the human side the cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Li Bingbing, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, T. J. Miller, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor and Titus Wellive. The Michael Bay-helmed sequel picks up after a devastating battle leaves humanity picking up the pieces as a shadowy group moves in to control the world. Pic opens in theaters on June 27, 2014.
