UPDATE: Crackle Unveils Three New Series, Renews Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Cars’ & More

UPDATE, 10:15 AM: Crackle‘s new lineupCrackle_logo__130506185030-e1367866249933-275x75 unveiled at this morning’s NewFronts includes three new series Tightrope, Sports Jeopardy! and Sequestered and feature film The Throwaways executive produced by Jeremy Renner and Don Handfield. The Sony-owned video site also said Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has been renewed for 24 more episodes (see below). Emmy winner Bryan Cranston exec produces the comedy series Tightrope, which replaces a character from a classic detective series with a modern-day actor to reshape the stories into contemporary comedy. Sports Jeopardy!, hosted by Dan Patrick, is a sports-themed version of the popular Jeopardy! game show. The 12-episode series Sequestered, starring Jesse Bradford, Summer Glau, Patrick Warburton, and Bruce Davison, is set to premiere in August. The thriller focuses on a jury that’s sequestered in a hotel while deliberating a court case with massive implications.
