Daniel Bernhardt Joins ‘Term Life’; ‘American Sniper’ Adds Cory Hardrict

EXCLUSIVE: Daniel Bernhardt (Bloodsport 2, Parker) has joined Term Life opposite Vince Vaughn and Hailee Steinfeld. Peter Billingsley is directing the crime thriller about a man who takes out an insurance policy on himself and must evade his enemies until it takes effect. Bernhardt will play a dirty cop hunting down Vaughn’s Nick Barrow in the pic which is adapted by A.J. Lieberman from the graphic novel he penned with Nick Thornborrow. Universal is releasing Term Life, which is financed by PalmStar Media Capital in partnership with Merced Media. Bernhardt is with Sovereign Talent Group.

Battle L.A.‘s Cory Hardrict has been cast in Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper. Hardrict will play a Navy SEAL in the pic which stars Bradley Cooper as decorated marksman Chris Kyle, whose nonfic memoir American Sniper: The Autobiography Of The Most Lethal Sniper In U.S. Military History serves as the basis for the WB production. Hardrict appeared in Eastwood’s Gran Torino and recently co-starred in Warm Bodies, Lovelace, and the upcoming Transcendence. Hardrict is repped by SDB Partners.
