Amy Poehler-Produced ‘Broad City’ Gets Season 2 Pickup At Comedy Central

The odd-couple comedy adapted from Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer’s digital series is coming back for more. Broad City, about two NYC friends navigating their way through the life’s minutiae, launched last month on Comedy Central and is averaging 1.2M viewers at 10:30 PM Wednesdays. Jacobson and Glazer star as broke, flawed twentysomethings who constantly meet the challenges the Big City throws at them, no matter how bad it gets. Hannibal Buress, Arturo Castro, Paul Downs, John Gemberling, Chris Gethard and Stephen Schneider co-star. Jacobson and Glazer executive produce along with Amy Poehler, Dave Becky, Sam Saifer and Tony Hernandez.
