As EVP of Distribution & Merchandising, Kent Sanderson will have oversight of the company’s cable, satellite and digital platform relationships as well as manage content windowing and marketing opportunities with the various digital retailers. He’ll also be handling acquisitions for the company at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival. The company announced his appointment today. He will report to GoDigital CEO Logan Mulvey.
Sanderson joins GoDigital following the recent shakeup at Focus, with the exit of James Schamus and Peter Schlessel taking over the reins of the film label. At Focus, Sanderson most recently served as Director, Alternative Content & Distribution. His credits include Alex Gibney’s We Steal Secrets: The Story Of WikiLeaks, and Sundance pics The Lifeguard and C.O.G. He also worked on the campaigns for The World’s End, The Place Beyond The Pines, and Moonrise Kingdom.
