Sundance Institute Taps Tabitha Jackson As Director Of Documentary Film Program

The nonprofit is crossing the pond for the newest member of its senior leadership team. Tabitha Jackson, who most recently served as Arts Commissioning Editor at Channel 4 in London, is joining Sundance Institute as Director, Documentary Film Program. Reporting directly to Executive Director Keri Putnam, her role will include planning and implementing a range of strategic partnerships, granting $1.8 million per year to independent documentaries globally and hosting five annual Labs for documentary filmmakers, among other activities. The 20-year industry veteran will relocate to LA and oversee a staff of eight, starting December 6.
