CNN’s ‘The Sixties: The Assassination of President Kennedy’ Wins Slot In News Demo

Marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination of JFK, CNN‘s The Sixties: The Assassination Of President Kennedy was No. 1 in cable news last night from 9-11 PM, averaging 508,000 viewers in the news demo. That edged out Fox News Channel’s 487,000 viewers in the block of time, and MSNBC’s 181,000.CNN, in its news about the ratings, noted the film outperformed its recent and widely viewed Blackfish in the news demo (472,000), early stats indicate.
