The London-based theatrical distributor has bought the TV sales agent/distributor for £800,000 ($1.3 million) – way down on the £10 million which was being talked about before. Instead, Metrodome has promised to invest a further £3 million in Target. Negotiations between both companies broke down last month. Mark Webster, executive chairman of Metrodome, has personally bought 50% of Target and is investing £700,000 himself in the company. Metrodome wants Target because around 6,000 hours of TV programming to ride out those peaks and troughs of theatrical releasing.
