Hot Teaser Trailer: ‘The Nut Job’

Animated 3D pic The Nut Job follows the adventures of a mischievous squirrel named Surly and his rat friend buddy as they plan a nut store heist. Voice cast includes Will Arnett as Surly, along with Liam Neeson, Katherine Heigl, Brendan Fraser, Stephen Lang, Sarah Gadon and Jeff Dunham. The film is directed by Peter Lepeniotis and scripted by Lorne Cameron and Lepeniotis, and based on the latter’s 2005 short film Surly Squirrel. Open Road releases the pic on January 17, 2014. Here’s a first peek:
