‘I, Frankenstein’ Set For IMAX Release

Lionsgate and Lakeshore/Hopscotch’s Aaron Eckhart-starring I, Frankenstein will be released in IMAX theaters around the U.S. and in select overseas territories on January 24, 2014. That’s the same day as the CG-heavy dystopian thriller’s regular domestic release. The 3D pic written and helmed by Stuart Beattie stars Eckhart, Bill Nighy and Yvonne Strahovski in a story based on the Darkstorm Studios graphic novel about the monster in present day who finds himself in the middle of a war between immortal clans.
