Ex-Saturday Night Live regular Seth Meyers is hard at work as the replacement for Jimmy Fallon in the new NBC late-night talk franchise that will be titled Late Night With Seth Meyers. Appearing at an afternoon Comic-Con panel for the new animated superhero comedy series The Awesomes that he co-created — and which premieres exclusively online at Hulu on August 1 — Meyers responded to a question about his new talk gig by noting: “We’re just getting ramped up, building the sets and staffing up. We’re excited to be doing it and to be shooting out of 30 Rock in New York City.” Also featured on this afternoon’s panel were Meyers’ Awesomes co-creator and talk show exec producer Mike Shoemaker as well as series voices Judd Winnick, Bobby Moynihan, Josh Meyers, Keenan Thompson, Taran Killam and Ike Barinholtz.
