AMC Taps Eliot Goldberg As Head Of Unscripted Programming

With AMC quickly growing its reality slate, the cable network is hiring a dedicated executive to oversee it. Eliot Goldberg is joining AMC in the newly created position of SVP Unscripted Programming. He starts next month, overseeing the day-to-day operations for the network’s original unscripted development as well as its current portfolio. He reports to Joel Stillerman, AMC’s EVP Original Programming, Production and Digital Content. “Eliot is a talented executive with both network and production company experience and a proven ability to tell authentic stories and find characters that resonate with audiences,” said Stillerman.

Goldberg comes from CMT, where he served as SVP Original Programming and Development and handled the development and oversight of such series as Bayou Billionaires — one of the highest-rated series in CMT’s history — and Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.
