RATINGS RAT RACE: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Hits Low, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ & ‘Extreme Weight Loss’ Rise

The NBA and NHL playoffs are over and The Voice has wrapped for the season, but the network reality battles were in full flight last night. Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (1.6/5) had its first live show of the summer season. With the Top 20 dancers making their moves and Wayne Brady joining Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy at the judges’ table, the two-hour show rose 14% from last week. That wasn’t the only double-digit rise for SYTYCD — the show was up 16% in viewers to 4.4 million. After being off for three weeks because of the NBA Finals, Extreme Weight Loss (1.2/4) packed on some ratings pounds in its return.
