Disney‘s previously untitled 3D animated pic that had secured a November 7, 2014 wide release now has a name: Big Hero 6, which is inspired by the Marvel comics superhero team. The Walt Disney Animation Studios pic is an action comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion — a robot named Baymax —H iro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city. The characters first appeared on Marvel’s pages in 1998. (Check out a first-look clip below.)

Disney also said today that its Cars-in-the-air movie Planes will be in 3D. Its August 9, 2013 release date stays the same.
