RATINGS RAT RACE: ‘How To Live With Your Parents’ Falls, ‘Idol’ Dips, ‘Law & Order: SVU’ & ‘Supernatural’ Up

She hasn’t been shy with her enthusiasms during her debut season on American Idol (3.2/9), but sometimes judge Nicki Minaj really outdoes herself. “You came out tonight to snatch some wigs off some heads! Tonight was your night,” she told contestant Angie Miller on Wednesday, setting this season’s catchphrase bar at a new height. Otherwise, it was down to the final four on Idol with one-hit wonders, duets and a song of personal choice in the two-hour live show. Last Wednesday, Idol rose 3% from its previous week’s numbers. This week it dipped 3% from last week’s fast nationals and 6% from April 17’s final numbers. It still was well ahead of its heavily encored rivals with 12.184 million viewers, and Fox won the night overall in total viewers and the adults 18-49 demographic.
