Peet’s casting comes on the heel of Manhattan Theater Club’s announcement last week that it will stage Peet’s first play, The Commons Of Pensacola, next season. There is talks that Blythe Danner and Sarah Jessica Parker, who participated in a reading of the play, may join the production. On screen, Peet, repped by Gersh and Management 360, co-stars in boxoffice hit Identity Thief and has been recurring on CBS’ The Good Wife. At HBO, she joins her husband, David Benioff, co-creator/executive producer of the network’s flagship series Game Of Thrones.
