RATINGS RAT RACE: ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Premiere Slips, ‘The Taste’ Finale Hits Low, ‘Smash’ Up, ‘Body of Proof’ & ‘Off Their Rockers’ Hit Series Lows

It also saw the show slip 8% from its Season 10 premiere on June 4. However, last night’s Hell’s Kitchen garnered pretty much the same number of viewers with 5.4 million compared to last year’s 5.5 million, and it was the highest-rated show of the night in the adults 18-49 demographic. Fox won the night overall in the key demo, while CBS topped in total viewers with 11.15 million.

The one-hour finale of the freshman show, which will see a Dancing With The Stars special in its slot next week, dipped 8% from last week to hit a series low. ABC started off the night with Celebrity Wife Swap (1.6/5), which rose 7% from the big drop-off its March 5 show saw from the previous week’s premiere. Falling 8% from last week, the struggling Body Of Proof (1.2/3) ended primetime for the network as it tied a series low.
