Frances Berwick has been promoted to President, Bravo Media. Berwick, who previously held the post of EVP and General Manager since January 2008, will continue to report to Lauren Zalaznick, President, NBC Universal Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks, whom she succeeded at the helm of Bravo.
During Berwick’s tenure as GM, Bravo’s original slate expanded by over a 33%. From 2005-2008, Berwick served as EVP, programming and production, where she supervised all Bravo’s development, production, scheduling and acquisitions. Earlier in her Bravo career, Berwick oversaw the development and production for Bravo’s breakout hit Queer Eye For The Straight Guy. She also developed, produced and launched Top Chef and Project Runway, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, Flipping Out, Rachel Zoe, Work Out, as well as the blockbuster Real Housewives franchise. One of Bravo’s longest tenured employees, Berwick joined the company in 1996 from Britain’s Channel 4 Television, where she headed international TV distribution and licensing.
