Gary Cole To Star In Fox’s ‘The List’, Kerri Kenney & Kurt Fuller Join ‘Friends & Family’

Gary Cole will play a lead opposite Michael Peña in The List, Fox‘s drama pilot from Paul Zbyszewski, Ruben Fleischer and 20th TV. The project centers on the intense Deputy U.S. Marshal Soto (Peña) who, when members of the Federal Witness Security Program start getting killed, leads the hunt for the person who stole “the list” – a file with the identities of every member of the program. Cole will play Soto’s boss, Chief Inspector Bob McKinnon, a stand-up, loyal guy who goes to bat for Soto when his maverick inspector gets into hot water, yet again. Cole, repped by Gersh and Envoy Entertainment, is wrapping a season-long arc on the upcoming second season of HBO’s Veep.

Reno 911! alumna Kerri Kenney-Silver and Kurt Fuller (Psych) have been cast in Friends & Family, Fox‘s single-camera comedy pilot from writer David Rosen, Sony TV and BBC Worldwide Prods. Based on the UK series Gavin & Stacey, Friends & Family focuses on the key life moments for Gavin (Jason Ritter) and Stacey (Alexis Bledel), who try to maintain their relationship while combining their polarizing families’ lives. Kenney, repped by Gersh and Principato-Young, will play Gwen, Stacey’s mom. She will next be seen in indie Dealin With Idiots and Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV and Newsreaders. Fuller, repped by APA and Gold Coast, plays Michael, Gavin’s dad. Also cast in the pilot is Ashlie Atkinson. She is with TalentWorks and Josselyne & Herman.
