HBO Tech Guru Robert Zitter To Retire After 30 Years

HBO‘s longtime chief technology officer Robert Zitter is stepping down as of March 31 and will handle special projects at the premium network until the end of next year. Otto Berkes has been named the company’s new EVP Technology and Chief Technology Officer, responsible for overseeing consumer technology, distribution, origination, production operations, engineering and IT. He joined HBO in 2011 as SVP Digital Products, coming from Microsoft, where he was one of the four original founders of Xbox. (more…)
