RATINGS RAT RACE: 'Hotel Hell' & 'Hell's Kitchen' Up As Fox Hits Summer High, 'Bachelor Pad' Flat, 'Stars Earn Stripes' Falls

Reality ruled on TV on Monday night but the results were very different across the networks. It was spelling bee night on ABC’s Bachelor Pad (1.3/4) last night and the word there was f-l-a-t.  With the contestants now competing as couples, the show was the same as last week – which was a good week for Bachelor Pad, rising 25% from its series low the week before. Fox had its usual double shot of Gordon Ramsay with Hotel Hell (2.3/7) and Hell’s Kitchen (3.0/8). Those numbers made Monday the highest ratings this summer so far for Hell’s Kitchen in both the Adult 18 – 49 demo and in total viewers. In fact, last night was the highest rating the show has had in the demo since October 13, 2010. On NBC, the celebrity completion series Stars Earn Stripes (0.9/2) also moved towards its finale next week. However, that movement is downward right now.
