RATINGS RAT RACE: 'Big Brother' Up, 'AGT' & 'SYTYCD' Steady, 'Oh Sit' Premiere OK

As if the Olympics never happened — Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (1.7/5 in adults 18-49) and the Wednesday edition of NBC’s America’s Got Talent (2.2/6) returned from their two-week hiatuses matching their last pre-Olympics originals. CBS’ Big Brother (2.1/7, 5.8 million viewers), which did not take time off, was up 11% from last week, when it faced primetime coverage from the London games, to post its highest Wednesday numbers among 18-49 and total viewers this season.

It also did far better than the in-season debuts of the CWs midseason reality series Remodeled (707,000 viewers and 0.3 in 18-49) and scripted drama LA Complex (646,000 viewers, 0.3). (more…)
