PREVIOUS: Tomorrow is Dorothy Lucey‘s final day on KTTV’s Good Day L.A. after her contract was not renewed. Here is her sendoff on the show from co-anchors Jillian Reynolds, who is switching to freelance status, and Steve Edwards. The video references a story in yesterday’s LA Times that mentions “unflattering comments about Lucey” made previously by Reynolds on Howard Stern’s radio show and gives a shoutout to Deadline for breaking the story on the Good Day L.A. changes. In light of Lucey’s departure, the show will hold on-air tryouts for the vacant chair in the mold of the syndicated Live With Kelly.
