Paramount Sets November 2 Release Date For 'Flight', Moves 'Guilt Trip' To Christmas

Flight, which marks Robert Zemeckis’ first live-action feature since 2000’s Cast Away, has been given a November 2, 2012 wide release date, Paramount announced today. To make room for the drama, the studio has shifted the Barbra Streisand-Seth Rogen comedy The Guilt Trip from that date to Christmas Day.┬áDenzel Washington stars in Flight, the John Gatins-scripted story of a commercial pilot who averts a plane crash and is hailed a hero, but an investigation discovers he was flying under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Guilt Trip, formerly knows as My Mother’s Curse, now lands on a date that also houses the Weinstein Co’s Django Unchained, Warner Bros’ The Great Gatsby, and FilmDistrict’s Playing The Field.
