Roadside Attractions Nabs U.S. And Latin American Rights To '30 Beats'

Directed, written and produced by Alexis Lloyd, 30 Beats has been picked up by Roadside Attractions for U.S. and Latin America. Lionsgate will handle all non-theatrical rights for the film including VOD, DVD and television in those markets. Roadside will roll out 30 Beats June 1st for theatrical and day-and-date VOD release in the U.S. Studio 37 acquired French rights; Latitude 49 and Studio 37 will jointly release the film theatrically in France on March 21st.

Starring Paz de la Huerta (Boardwalk Empire), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Lee Pace (The Hobbit), Thomas Sadoski (The News Room) and Jennifer Tilly the feature revolves around a group of New Yorkers whose lives interconnect via a string of life‐changing sexual encounters during a summer heat wave. Roadside’s Howard Cohen negotiated the deal for 30 Beats with and Lloyd and attorney Evan Krauss on behalf of the filmmakers. Molly Conners, Carl Ford and Lloyd produced. Executive producers include Susan Batson, Ronald Guttman and Pierre Lagrange.
