Fox Buys Comedy About 2 Sets Of Friends

From Fox and Warner Bros. TV, the network and studio behind new multicamera comedy I Hate My Teenage Daughter, comes I Hate Your Friends, a new multicamera comedy project targeted for next season. Fox has bought the half-hour script written by Michael Showalter and Christina Lee, which centers on a couple who falls in love, thinking they’ve found “the one” … until they meet each other’s friends. Showalter and Lee are executive producing with Peter Principato and Paul Young.

Showalter, repped by UTA and Principato-Young, is the co-creator/director/star of Comedy Central’s Michael & Michael Have Issues.
