AP: NFL Owners And Players Agree To Deal

UPDATE, 11:45 AM: The NFL Players Association’s executive committee and all 32 team reps have voted to approve terms of the 10-year collective bargaining agreement, which has been signed. The league is expected to unlock the doors tomorrow, when trades and rookie signings can begin. Free agent signings can be filed Friday. Player certification of the new deal must be done by Aug. 4.

AP says the National Football League team owners and players worked through the weekend and agreed early today to the terms of a deal to end the four-month lockout, the first since 1987.
