EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed prolific TV producer Jessica Rhoades (Sharp Objects) and her company Pacesetter Productions in all areas.

Rhoades is currently an executive producer on Gillian Flynn’s upcoming Amazon Studios straight-to-series drama Utopia, starring Sasha Lane, John Cusack, and Rainn Wilson, which is expected to premiere this fall. Rhoades recently joined as an executive producer HBO Max’s upcoming limited series Station Eleven from creator Patrick Somerville, alongside director/executive producer Hiro Murai and co-executive Producer Nate Matteson.

Previously, Rhoades executive produced the praised HBO limited series Sharp Objects, based on the novel by Gillian Flynn and adapted by Marti Noxon, starring Amy Adams and directed by Jean-Marc Vallee. It was nominated for three Golden Globes and eight Emmys, including  Limited Series for both. The series’ success led to Rhoades signing a first-look deal with HBO.

Rhoades’ other series producing credits include Showtime’s The Affair and NBC’s The Village. Prior to launching her Pacesetter Productions banner, she was the Head of Television at Blumhouse, helping to build the company’s TV brand.
