SPOILER ALERT: This story contains details of Monday night’s episode of Arrow.
A new villain has landed in Star City. Adrian Paul (Highlander) appeared Monday night in his first episode in a recurring arc as Dante, a formidable foe that promises to give Team Green Arrow a run for its money.
Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) have spent months covertly pursuing Dante, a financier behind dozens of terrorist attacks, via the ARGUS Ghost Initiative, even recruiting Diaz (Kirk Avevedo) to help. In the “Brothers & Sisters” episode, Dante shows how formidable he is, proving himself to be quite adept with a knife.
Based on the characters from DC, Arrow hails from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (The Flash, Supergirl), Beth Schwartz (Arrow, Legends) and Sarah Schechter (Supergirl, Blindspot). Marc Guggenheim (Eli Stone, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters) is consulting producer.
Paul is best known for his role as Duncan MacLeod on the television show Highlander: The Series, which ran for six seasons and 119 episodes. He went on to reprise the role in the movie Highlander: Paul is repped by Mark Schumacher Management and Sovereign Talent Agency
