EXCLUSIVE: Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman is set to co-star opposite Christina Milian and Adam Demos in the Netflix/Mar Vista Entertainment film, Falling Inn Love, which is shooting this month in New Zealand. Cruel Intentions helmer Roger Kumble is directing the pic from a script by Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy.
It centers on city girl Gabriela (Milian) who spontaneously enters a “Win An Inn” contest and winds up with a money pit (albeit in a picturesque New Zealand town). With her only option being to fix & flip it, Gabriela reluctantly teams with the gorgeous local contractor (Demos) and soon grows to appreciate the community and a true partnership – in both work and love.
Bowyer-Chapman, who starred on all four seasons of the Lifetime and later Hulu series, UnReal, and was recently seen on FX’s American Horror Story: Apocalypse, will play Dean, Gabriela’s divorce lawyer boyfriend.
Robyn Snyder and Mel Turner are producing the project. Exec producers are Fernando Szew and Hannah Pillemer.
Up next, Bowyer-Chapman stars in Spiral, an indie film about a same-sex couple raising a 16-year-old girl in a small town where nothing is as it seems.
He’s repped by Innovative and Jill Fritzo PR.
