NBC’s two-hour America’s Got Talent: The Champions (1.8 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, 10.38 million viewers) set a new best in total viewers Monday and jumped 13% week to week to match its premiere series high in the demo.
The talent competition ranked No. 1 in primetime in both metrics. After which, the network’s Manifest (1.0, 5.59M) held on to all of its previous week demo data and inched up in viewers, though it lost nearly half its lead-in.
Against Manifest, ABC’s sophomore The Good Doctor (1.1, 6.55M) took 10 PM for a third week in a row, delivering its most watched telecast since late November though dropping a tenth in the demo. Leading into the doc drama, The Bachelor (1.7, 6.35M) added viewers for a third week, hitting another season high in that metric, and matched its season best in the demo.
NBC (1.5, 8.784M) won the night overall in viewers and was second in the demo behind ABC (1.6, 6.418M), which was second in eyeballs.
Fox, meanwhile, saw its 8 PM The Resident (0.9, 5.38M) and 9 PM The Passage (0.9, 3.92M) each fall off a tenth, the latter logging a fresh low. Fox (0.9, 4.65M) was No. 3 in the demo for the night.
On CBS, Celebrity Big Brother (1.1, 4.67M) gained a point in the demo compared with its Sunday telecast, while Magnum P.I. (0.7, 5.62M) was flat and led into a Bull rerun at 10 PM.
CBS (0.8, 5.16M) was No. 4 overall in the demo followed by the CW (0.3, 1.07M), which had tenth gains for both Arrow (0.4, 1.21M) and Black Lightning (0.3, 920,000).
