President Donald Trump Blasts Two Fox Reporters, Claims They Know Less Than CNN and NBC

In a surprising tweet, President Donald Trump has called out two of his presumptive favorite news channel’s reporters.

Under fire for ending the government shutdown without funding for his wall on the southern border with Mexico, Trump has clapped back against critics. He claims he has merely taken pity on payless government workers and set a three-week deadline for negotiations, then will take action if a deal cannot be struck.

That action presumably includes a declaration of a national emergency and using funds available to the executive branch that don’t require congressional approval.

Criticism from Roberts and Turner evidently touched a nerve with the Commander-in-Tweet, who issued the ultimate Trumpian insult when he claimed Roberts and Turner know less “than the folks at FAKE NEWS CNN & NBC!”

So far, Roberts and Turner have not responded.

In an earlier tweet, Trump mistakenly pulled a California teenager from Weed, California, into the fray when he tagged Jillian Turner instead of Gillian Turner in his post. The teen initially took some heat on social media, and the tweet was subsequently corrected.

‘Never thought I’d say this but I think @johnrobertsFox and @JillianTurner @FoxNews have even less understanding of the Wall negotiations than the folks at FAKE NEWS CNN & NBC! ‘Look to final results! Don’t know how my poll numbers are so good, especially up 19% with Hispanics?’
