Jeffrey Katzenberg To Give Keynote Speech At Canada’s Banff World Media Festival


EXCLUSIVE: DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg is to give a keynote speech at the Banff World Media Festival as the Rocky Mountains-set conference celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Katzenberg, who is currently Managing Partner of WndrCo and Chairman and Founder of Quibi, will speak on Sunday, June 9, at the event, which runs through to the June 12 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, Canada.

This comes as the event launches the BANFF Summit Series, a future-focused lineup of keynote sessions from global entertainment execs.

He likely will discuss his latest moves in the consumer technology world, where WndrCo acquires, develops and operates businesses, as well as shortform content, which he is developing with Silicon Valley and Hollywood through Quibi.

The Banff Summit Series is a curated, future-focused lineup of keynote sessions being launched in honor of the festival’s four-decade legacy. Its speaker roster will feature the global players who are shaping the future of the media industry.

Banff attracts 250-plus international buyers and delegates from more than 25 countries including a cross-section of television and digital media professionals.
